Oh my gosh, I LOVED the finished result of this cake!

The beautiful fresh flowers were supplied by Florist Gump. I delivered the cake & flowers to Ferguson Farmstay on Saturday morning and spent almost an hour assembling the tiers . . .  quite a structural feat!

The bottom 10" and top 6" tiers were accented with chandelier piping and baby pink ribbon  & bow. The middle 8" tier had a lace effect with tiny pink blossoms.

Guests were treated to white chocolate raspberry mudcake & caramel mudcake with caramel ganache.

The ladies at Ferguson Farmstay loved this cake, and were nice enough to say it was the most beautiful cake they have ever had at the picturesque venue.

Steph is a good friend of my sister in law, so I jumped at the opportunity to create her dream cake!

6" 9" 12" square by 4" high tiers is visually appealing, and looked elegant with brush embroidery on the middle tier. Plum wide ribbon was a beautiful contrast to the teal sashes on the chairs at The Sanctuary Golf Resort, and together they matched the bridesmaids' contrasting gowns.

The two delicious tiers of fruit cake drizzled with french brandy were complimented by a large tier of jaffa mud cake.

A delicious 9" fruit cake, drizzled with french Brandy.

Helen chose a simple design, that complimented her Eiffel tower topper.

Karina requested a cake that was bright and busy busy!! The wedding colours were orange & purple, so these were featured through out the design.

The groom is from New Zealand, so I created little bride & groom sheep

Boxed mini cakes are very popular with my brides. This tower was delivered to Capel Vale, hard to believe it was my first time there!

Decorated with double ribbon in lavender & silver, with the cutting cake piped with lazy hearts

This cute little cake was 4" 6" 8", with the top & bottom tiers quilted with silver cachous.

Reception was held at Alverstoke

A beautiful display of 50 boxed mini cakes, half plain and half quilted with cachous. Each cake was embellished with a gorgeous diamante buckle.
The Baron's restaurant at the Lord Forrest was beautifully decorated by Neil & Adele from Creations Unlimited.

Tara provided me with a photo of a cake by the cake gallery, and asked that I re-create it for her wedding day.

A striking design, that I think I will be seeing more of in the near future.

Tara's cake was a 6" 9" 12" offset square configuration, with delicious marbled mud cake inside waiting to be dessert.

Double ribbon, in royal blue & silver, with sophisticated oval diamante buckles.

The topper was waiting for me at KBSC. When ordering custom made toppers, make sure the base will suit the size & shape of your top tier, and that the height will compliment the size of your cake. This cake was 12" tall.

Last weekend I delivered this classic beauty to the Lighthouse Beach Resort, and the room was beautifully decorated by Neil & Adele from Creations Unlimited.

Quilted then accented with cachous, this design was simple but elegant, and the cachous gave it a subtle bling.
Topped with a popular couple, which is available from Affordable Elegance.

Ted & Edie

Narelle, an old friend from years ago, asked that I create a cake for her grandparents 60th wedding anniversary.

A traditional fruitcake, with pink & yellow gumpaste dogwood roses, traditional crimping & draping with a touch of bling in the form of diamante chain.

This cake instantly became a personal favourite!

Helen asked that I create 30 cupcakes for her grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary.
There were 10 of each design, in 3 different flavours.

Mallory's hens night

A friend of mine recently celebrated her hens night with a Sex in the city themed party.
I was asked to create a cake to suit.
We came up with a striking hot pink & black design, with a little bit of bling. The following 2 photos had a small stiletto topper, as I wasn't sure if the gumpaste stiletto would make the 90 minute journey to Perth.

These next photos were taken with my phone, showing the edible shoe topper.

Lauren provided me with a sketch of her dream cake for little Lincoln's christening.
This was a beautiful design, which looked great in person, and would suit a little girl as well in pink.

Recently I had the pleasure of recreating a previous design for Louise Trunfio, fashion designer, and sister of supermodel Nicole Trunfio.

The beautiful crystal beaded strands were supplied by the bride.

Louise and her lovely groom collected their cake the day before their wedding down in the Margaret River wine region.

I was asked to create something red & "Japanesey" for Shelley's birthday, and immediately thought of a Kimmidoll!

Today is my Pa's 85th birthday.
His birthday marks the end of September, which for our family, is a crazy, busy, birthday filled month!

I created this little 6" white chocolate mudcake, to represent his passion for his vegie garden. It was so much fun creating the little lettuce, pumpkins and parsnips!

We reminisced about when I was a little girl and would draw him some artwork for his birthdays.... and now I am able to lovingly create art he can eat!

Happy birthday Pa, love from your little girl xxx

Clare & JB celebrate 3!

I created this cute little mini cake for JB & Clare's wedding anniversary. Very last minute, but total freedom of design (my favourite kind!)

Sitting on an 8" board, this cake was not much bigger than 5", a real sweet treat for 2 love birds!

Today my Dad turned 60.

I had planned a surprise party for him, along with a surprise visit by his sister and my brother managed to wrangle a few extra days off work before he had to fly out. I'm very pleased that he didn't have a clue what we were all planning!

The theme for the cake is pretty self explanatory, and was a dream to create.

It would also make a great scuba divers cake!!

Amanda requested a mad hatter cake with the colour scheme of red, black and silver.

Such fun cakes to create, a mad hatter gives freedom to be creative. Silver "champagne bubbles" feature through out the design, along with some hand painted "pin striping", which echoes Amanda's love of cars.

Happy 40th Amanda, I hear 40 is the new 30 ;)

Last year I created the Cyberman cake. This year Tori & her mum asked me to make another Dr Who themed birthday cake for Terry, the Tardis!

5" wide by over 10" tall, this cake looked bigger than it really was!

Sharelle is my first Monday wedding.

Her theme was Disney Fairytale, and she fell in love with this design that I found online.
A 7" 9" 11" configuration, castle perched on top, with a whimsical staircase leading to the castle door, this really did have an air of princesses and happily ever after!

And the family birthdays continue!

This weekend both my big brothers celebrated their birthdays with a joint party, which hasn't been done for many years! Having them sit side by side while we sang them happy birthday, and then to blow out their candles together was like stepping back in time.

For something "blokey" to suit them both, I came up with a 4WD tyre!
